This is a great local spot and the servers here are fantastic. Their outdoor area is specifically great during covid and with heaters and cozy firepits and lots of space, it's great for a date night visit or with a group of friends. Food and drinks are great too and their cocktail/drinks menu is quite extensive.
I met some coworkers here for dinner recently and we really liked it. Its a bit annoying that everything has to be done through their app - the menu, ordering and paying - but overall we figured it out. I guess its way to have less staff. We basically ordered almost the whole appetizer menu, some dishes more than once. We really enjoyed everything. Nothing was bad.
BAVARIAN PRETZEL: house-made 3 cheese sauce, served warm
BRUSSEL SPROUTS: flash-fried, gochujang aioli, fleur de sel
STREET TACOS: carnitas, salsa verde, cilantro, cotija, & onion -AND- aciote chicken w/cilantro, cotija, achiote sauce
QUESO FUNDIDO: three cheeses melted with bell peppers, red onion, chorizo & chipotle topped with cotija & cilantro, served with tortilla chips.
ADULT CHICKEN STRIPS: breaded deep fried chicken strips with bbq sauce and ranch
Potater Tot Salad: crispy tots lightly tossed in truck stop dressing, bacon, cornichons, diced celery & red onion, green onion
The pretzel was once of my favs. The fundido was so yummy. Loved it all. Really good food with a nice atmosphere. Definitely want to go back in warmer weather to sit outside in their cool outdoor area.
I had a higher opinion until my husband told me what dinner here cost. We had some appetizers and one single entree - one glass of wine. It was $85 per person before tip! Okay, good food. Nice patio. Good service though you order through an app and water, napkins, etc is self serve outside. I love that dogs are allowed on the patio (as long as responsible owners are there - not the restaurants' fault, but I do wish people wouldn't bring ill behaved pups to crowded restaurants!). But seriously, I cannot get behind paying nearly $100 for this experience. So - four stars for good effort but outrageous prices.
This place is amazing!!! Giant burgers, great presentation and super cute outside with a garden, fountains and fish ponds. You order on your phone which I must say is a pain in the butt, but overall loved it!
Great spot if you're looking for a large, scenic back yard/ patio to casually catch up with friends over drinks. Food is good, possibly a little greasy, portions are huge. One thing to note is that this place is pretty family friendly- which can be good or bad depending on the experience you're looking for. BF and I went on a date here and sat next to a family with a few young kids, and one screamed for entire two hours we were there. We probably won't come back for a relaxing meal / date, but if we have friends with kids who want to hang we'd probably suggest meeting up at Waterdog.
